About the Role
Join a well-established food manufacturing company in Cambridge, Waikato, with over a century of history. This position is a permanent night shift role from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, offering job security and a collaborative working environment. The role involves working with contemporary automation and control technologies in a thriving regional location accessible from Hamilton and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
- Conduct planned and preventative electrical maintenance
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and develop long-term solutions
- Operate and maintain PLCs, automation, and control systems
- Assist with electrical upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Manage inventory of critical electrical spare parts
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
Candidate Profile
- Hold a current EWRB practising license
- Have a minimum of three years’ industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise with PLCs, automation, and control systems
- Exhibit a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving
- Understand health and safety regulations thoroughly
- Experience with CMMS is an advantage but not essential
