Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for passionate and dynamic finance professionals committed to outstanding customer service and delivering innovative solutions for our guests. As an Income Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying all financial reports to ensure proper authorization in line with applicable policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine the Night Auditor's logbook, daily revenue and Food & Beverage reports along with supporting vouchers and trial balances.
- Distribute daily financial reports after securing approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
- Analyze range variance reports to confirm correct rates were applied.
- Review city ledger and daily credit card transfers before forwarding them to Accounts Receivable.
- Audit daily cash summaries and update the General Cashier’s reports accordingly.
- Investigate cashiers’ overages and shortages, taking appropriate measures and verify Front Office foreign exchange rates as needed.
- Perform weekly float counts for all house fund holders and compile a monthly float count summary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in hotel management or accounting.
- At least one year of relevant experience within a hotel setting.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate; familiarity with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is advantageous.
