Job Overview
We are seeking an Inbound Sales Executive to join our Inside Sales team in New Zealand, focused on assisting businesses with selecting suitable fuel card and payment solutions. This role offers an excellent entry point into a sales career, ideal for individuals who are organized, coachable, and thrive on customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound inquiries via phone, web, and email channels.
- Pose insightful questions to comprehend customers' fleet sizes, fuel consumption, payment preferences, and timing needs.
- Clearly explain Corpay products, pricing models, benefits, and application procedures.
- Convert qualified leads into finalized applications and fuel card sales.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and applications to ensure every opportunity advances appropriately.
- Maintain precise records of customer data, leads, and opportunities within Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Prepare comprehensive applications and relevant documentation for credit assessments.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the application status updates.
- Collaborate with Credit, Customer Service, and Account Management teams to facilitate application progression and resolve inquiries.
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to higher management when necessary.
- Contribute feedback to improve sales workflows and customer experience.
- Engage in ongoing coaching, training sessions, and team initiatives aimed at improving sales performance.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum educational qualification of NCEA Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Comfortable and confident engaging customers telephonically.
- Keen attention to detail with efficient data entry capabilities.
- Familiarity with basic Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with reliable follow-up habits.
- An enthusiastic, positive, and coachable mindset.
- Resilient when addressing customer objections and persistent in meeting targets.
- Comfortable adopting new technologies and systems.
- Must have legal right to work in New Zealand.
Desirable Experience
- Background in inbound sales, customer service, hospitality, or retail.
- Exposure to activity, service, or sales target-driven environments.
- Experience using CRM, ticketing, or sales platforms.
- Familiarity with account support, administrative tasks, or application processing.
- Knowledge of B2B sales, fleet management, fuel cards, or payment solutions.
