Position Summary

The In Stock Specialist is a key role responsible for maintaining product availability, price accuracy, and the functionality of electronic shelf tags and AI-driven in-stock camera systems. This position ensures compliance and accuracy during important item changes and promotional periods, collaborating across teams to uphold an exceptional guest experience marked by quality, hospitality, and teamwork. Duties include oversight of planogram compliance, verifying signage and pricing, and supporting front-of-house operations during busy times.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of electronic shelf tags and Captana systems.
• Act as the primary contact for AI-based in-stock monitoring cameras.
• Regularly perform out-of-stock assessments and initiate corrective measures to maintain product availability.
• Oversee planogram adherence and precise product placement throughout the store.
• Maintain accurate pricing across departments ensuring all tags, signs, and promotional materials are correct.
• Lead compliance efforts during product transitions and marketing events.
• Assist with front-end functions including cashier duties during high-traffic periods.
• Verify accuracy of promotional deals and pricing updates in signage and electronic tags.
• Support pricing integrity through spot checks and resolution of identified discrepancies.

Work Schedule

Flexibility is necessary with potential work hours including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in retail, grocery, food service, or hospitality environments.
• Between 1 and 2 years of experience leading or coordinating teams.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Experience in retail, culinary, or grocery sectors.
• Familiarity with electronic shelf label technology, inventory management systems, or AI-powered retail tools.

Physical Demands and Environment

• Requires repetitive motions of hands and arms, bending, reaching, and the capacity to lift or move weights up to 50 pounds independently.
• Use of equipment such as knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, and pallet jacks is necessary.
• Prolonged standing or walking for periods of up to four hours or as legally required.
• Compliance with safety attire including approved hats, hair nets, beard guards, and other personal protective equipment is mandatory.
