Job Overview and Responsibilities

This role based in Khobar City, Saudi Arabia, requires hybrid onsite and remote work. The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and customizing technical solutions and applications using Hexagon's suite of cyber technology and engineering software. Key products include Automation Integrity™, ControlWizard™, Cyber Integrity™, and PlantState Integrity™. The consultant will independently handle project plans, execute technology deployments, configure scripts, perform data collection and processing, and provide technical support during implementations. Training clients on product usage and administration is also a core duty.

Additional responsibilities involve producing comprehensive project documentation, testing and troubleshooting installations, escalating technical issues to specialized teams, and timely coordination with Technical Support. Maintaining professional client interactions, offering feedback for product and process enhancement, and collaborating with implementation and technical support teams is essential. The consultant will manage project expense reporting, timesheets, and comply with all work processes and quality standards. Adherence to Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity best practices is mandatory. The role may also include back-office support functions and participation in pre-sales activities.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM field such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Technology. Practical experience in software solution design, evaluation, and implementation is required. Proficiency with server operating systems, networking basics and advanced concepts, scripting, batch job creation, Microsoft SQL installation and configuration, and familiarity with ICS equipment is needed. Comfort with network protocols like Telnet, FTP(s), HTTP(s), and security controls for network access is necessary. Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, are required. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Core Competencies and Industry Certifications

Key competencies include delivering excellent customer satisfaction, effective communication, teamwork, organizational ability, multitasking, attention to detail, adherence to operational policies, respect for others, process design, training delivery, and providing constructive client feedback. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a relevant STEM field, experience with ICS technology and process control, knowledge of cloud virtualization platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, and experience mentoring others. Certifications such as Cisco CompTIA, CCNA, CISSP, MCSE, and skills in application programming languages (VB script, Python, Power BI) are advantageous.

Work Location and Travel

The role requires the engineer to be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with approximately 70% travel expected to various sites including Jubail, Udhailiyah, Ras Tanura, Jazan, and Yanbu.
