Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IBM TM1 Developer to join a leading consulting firm. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in TM1 development and will be primarily based in Brisbane, working onsite with some hybrid flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to end users as a Brisbane-based TM1/Planning Analytics Developer.
- Engage in design and configuration of IBM TM1/Planning Analytics Perspectives.
- Install, troubleshoot, and manage Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX).
- Utilize Turbo Integrator functions and MDX scripting for data processes.
- Manage data integration between TM1/Planning Analytics and external systems.
- Execute data validation and enhance data presentation using TM1/Planning Analytics tools.
- Create and maintain TM1/Planning Analytics rules and feeders.
- Oversee model builds, maintenance, and change management of TM1/Planning Analytics applications.
- Handle TM1/Planning Analytics architecture, configuration, and performance monitoring.
- Administer security protocols and user management within TM1/Planning Analytics environments.
- Design, develop, and deploy financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
- Employ knowledge of both relational and OLAP database structures for effective system development.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a TM1/Planning Analytics Developer.
- Strong skills with IBM TM1/Planning Analytics Perspectives design and configuration.
- Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX) installation and troubleshooting.
- Competence in Turbo Integrator scripting and MDX queries.
- Proven ability to integrate data between TM1/Planning Analytics and other external databases or systems.
- Expertise in writing and maintaining TM1/Planning Analytics rules and feeders.
- Familiarity with model build, maintenance, change management, architecture, and performance monitoring within TM1/Planning Analytics.
- Experience managing security and user permissions.
- Background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting application development.
- Understanding of both relational and OLAP database design principles.
