About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our team at the distribution centre in Warrington. In this permanent full-time position, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing hygiene standards across the warehouse environment.
The role involves working five days out of seven each week, with shifts including at least one weekend day. Available shift patterns are:
- Day shift: 06:00 to 14:00
- Night shift: 22:00 to 06:00
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties within the warehouse such as emptying bins and operating the waste compactor.
- Gather and manage recyclable materials efficiently.
- Operate the bailer machine as required.
- Respond promptly to spills and trip hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
- Record and collect information on damaged goods to help minimize waste.
- Carry out yard upkeep tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Holding a Counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage is £13.69 for day shifts and £14.85 for afternoon, late, and night shifts. Employees under 21 years of age will earn £10.90 per hour.
