About The Role

Our client, a respected interior design studio based in Sydney, is seeking a knowledgeable and capable HR Manager. This role is central to managing all aspects related to personnel, shaping the company’s vision and HR strategy. The position demands a high degree of independence, with strong decision-making and self-guidance required. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including posting job ads, interviewing candidates, and selecting hires.
• Prepare and manage employee-related documents such as contracts and offer letters.
• Ensure smooth onboarding for new employees.
• Create and enforce comprehensive HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and assist managers throughout the process.
• Track and manage employee attendance and absences.
• Administer disciplinary and grievance handling procedures.
• Work alongside various departments to develop strategic HR plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Keep updated on employment laws and ensure compliance at all times.
• Coordinate closely with the HR Assistant to maintain consistent communication.
• Provide weekly briefings to the global management team.

• Proven extensive experience within Human Resources roles.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and compliance practices.
• Skilled in managing redundancies, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management sensitively and effectively.
