Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager position, based onsite at the hotel, involves managing the entire employee journey from recruiting and onboarding through to performance assessment and separation. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, ensuring adherence to labor laws, and fostering a workplace culture consistent with the hotel's high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Manage HR policies and ensure full compliance with relevant labor regulations.
- Support a positive and inclusive workplace environment aligned with hospitality service excellence.
- Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Handle employee relations matters and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and support workforce planning with managerial teams.
- Monitor HR metrics and administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that improve employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience in human resources management, particularly in recruitment, employee relations, and performance oversight.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance issues, especially within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict management abilities suitable for diverse workplace teams.
- Expertise in handling confidential information and maintaining meticulous HR documentation.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and general office software like Microsoft Office.
- Skills in training, coaching, and employee development to foster professional growth.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality-related HR roles is highly desirable.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines; additional HR certifications are advantageous.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management skills to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
