Overview
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar seeks a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This position supports various HR administrative tasks and helps maintain smooth operations within the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain filing systems efficiently.
- Prepare office correspondence utilizing computer systems.
- Manage mail distribution and routing.
- Order and monitor HR office supplies and forms.
- Handle incoming calls and document messages.
- Establish new employee personnel files accurately.
- Assist walk-in candidates with the application process and uphold an accessible, clean application area suitable for individuals with disabilities.
- Address employee and management inquiries concerning company and HR policies and programs.
- Communicate employee relations matters within the division or property to HR management promptly.
- Preserve confidentiality and security of employee records, property files, and sensitive information.
- Ensure accurate upkeep of all employee documentation, including interview materials and I-9 forms.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Report workplace accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
- Greet and recognize all guests per company standards.
- Use clear, professional communication verbally and in writing; handle telephone etiquette appropriately.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond thoughtfully to employee concerns.
- Meet quality expectations and standards consistently.
- Use computers or point of sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related data.
- Physically handle materials weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No licenses or certifications are necessary.
