Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role is centered on managing Employee Relations (ER) activities while ensuring smooth HR operational workflows, effective employee lifecycle oversight, and continuous enhancement of HR policies and procedures. This position champions fair and consistent handling of employment matters, adherence to labor legislation, and fosters a positive, productive workplace. It serves as the critical connection among employees, line managers, and organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for Employee Relations issues throughout the company.
- Oversee comprehensive employee relations cases such as grievances, disciplinary matters, complaints, and conflict resolution.
- Guarantee equitable, uniform, and prompt addressing of workplace compliance concerns.
- Advocate appropriate corrective actions in compliance with corporate policies and labor laws.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Manage and support onboarding procedures to provide new hires with a consistent and positive introduction aligned with company guidelines.
- Drive HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience and the quality of service delivery.
- Ensure efficient execution of employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and exits.
- Refine HR processes for consistency and operational effectiveness while contributing to the ongoing advancement of HR policies and governance.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of labor laws and ensure adherence throughout the organization.
- Handle escalated managerial concerns regarding attendance, conduct, and behavioral challenges.
- Act as a facilitator between management and staff to promote transparent communication and resolve workplace disputes.
- Implement employee engagement strategies to boost satisfaction, retention, and organizational culture.
- Maintain confidential records, generate insightful reports on employee relations, and advise on risk mitigation.
- Coach organizational leaders on effective people management, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide strategic advice on workforce culture and employee relations trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources with a significant emphasis on Employee or Industrial Relations.
- Solid expertise in labor laws, HR policies, and disciplinary protocols.
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex employee relations cases and workplace investigations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and ethical professionalism.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and relevant government labor portals.
Additional Information
This role is based onsite in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and demands a hands-on approach to lead employee relations and HR operational excellence within the company.
