Hub Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves managing parcel processing activities including sorting, scanning, tagging, and organizing shipments based on pin codes and delivery routes. It requires handling merchandise safely during loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and maintaining accurate inventory records through digital tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive, scan, tag, and categorize incoming and outgoing packages according to geographic delivery zones.
• Safely load and unload goods from transportation vehicles and arrange shipments for dispatch.
• Keep detailed digital records of stock levels and conduct physical counts using handheld scanners or computer systems for inventory management.
• Support hub supervisors by allocating delivery routes, preparing necessary documentation such as run sheets, and assisting with training new team members.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, monitor and document any delays or damages in shipments, and communicate any operational problems to management.
