Role Overview

The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer is essential in upholding a proactive culture centered on Safety, Sustainability, and Quality. You will collaborate with site leadership and team members to enhance safety outcomes, guarantee compliance with regulations, and nurture a workplace where safety remains foremost.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and assess risks within operations to develop control strategies.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Support continuous improvement programs to elevate safety performance.
• Partner with operational teams to execute Bradken's Safety Strategic Plan.
• Monitor HSE metrics and ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and statutory standards along with company policies.
• Promote positive safety behaviors to cultivate ownership across the workforce.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Safety certification recognized by Tamil Nadu Safety Officer requirements and/or NEBOSH International General Certificate.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial sites, or greenfield projects.
• Proven experience performing safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Competence in hazard identification, risk evaluation, and prevention controls.
• Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting tools.
• Experience related to construction projects and machinery erection is advantageous.

Location

This position is based at the Coimbatore Manufacturing Facility, supporting Health, Safety & Environment initiatives across the site.
