Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented EdTech Recruiter to oversee the complete recruitment cycle for our expanding EdTech operations. This role entails sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating, and closing hires for various roles including BDE/BDA, Inside Sales, Academic Counsellor, Telecaller, and Customer Support positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers and business units to understand staffing needs.
- Identify candidates via platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and social media.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments through screening and telephonic interviews.
- Evaluate applicants based on communication aptitude, experience relevance, job fit, and stability.
- Manage high-volume hiring efforts for sales and counselling roles.
- Organize interviews and liaise with hiring managers.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates until their onboarding.
- Negotiate job offers ensuring candidate acceptance and closure.
- Maintain comprehensive candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment targets.
- Generate and maintain recruitment MIS reports covering sourcing, interviews, selections, offers, and joining.
- Develop and sustain a talent pipeline for anticipated hiring needs.
- Ensure a positive recruitment experience for all candidates.
- Coordinate with HR and Operations for onboarding and documentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 1 to 4 years in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Prior exposure to recruiting within the EdTech sector is preferred.
- Experience handling bulk or volume recruitment is a definite plus.
- Proficient with recruitment platforms like LinkedIn and other job portals.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion abilities.
- Effective candidate relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Adept at working towards recruitment targets and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Skillful in managing multiple open positions concurrently.
Preferred Candidates
- Experience recruiting for roles such as Business Development Executive, Business Development Associate, Academic Counsellor, Inside Sales, Telecaller, Customer Success, and Student Counsellor among sales and support functions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Volume of candidates sourced and initially screened daily.
- Number of scheduled interviews.
- Ratio of candidates selected.
- Offer acceptance to joining ratio.
- Number of monthly successful hires.
- Average time taken to fill positions.
- Strength and depth of candidate pipelines.
- Rates of offer or joining dropouts.
Compensation
Salary ranges from ₹30000 to ₹45000 per month, reflecting an annual package of ₹3.0 LPA to ₹6.0 LPA plus incentives, depending upon experience, EdTech background, and recruitment achievements.
Work Location
This position requires presence at the office located in Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Work mode is full-time onsite.
