HR Officer

Overview

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an HR Officer to join Etqan Global Academy located in Doha, Qatar. This role aims to support the operational functions of HR within the school, ensuring an organized, compliant, and efficient human resources environment that backs leadership and promotes staff wellbeing.

Key Duties

• Assist in daily HR operations across the institution
• Keep employee records accurate and compliant, both digital and physical copies
• Draft employment contracts, modifications, renewals, and formal communication
• Help manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including visa documentation coordination
• Oversee recruitment processes comprehensively, handling candidate paperwork and offer documentation
• Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly payroll data and manage employee benefits schemes
• Provide frontline support for employee relations concerns, escalating critical issues to the HR Manager

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Between 4 to 6 years of experience in HR, preferably within education or similarly governed sectors
• Sound understanding of Qatar’s labour laws and employment procedures preferred
• Familiarity with payroll systems and HR information technology platforms
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and comfortable liaising with school leadership
