Job Overview
We seek an accomplished and motivated HR Director to oversee and direct the entire HR function at a healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the UAE healthcare sector, particularly within Abu Dhabi, and have a deep understanding of Department of Health (DOH) regulations and healthcare licensing protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all HR activities ensuring efficient operation across the medical facility.
- Create and enforce HR policies and systems aligned with UAE Labor Law, DOH standards, and healthcare best practices.
- Handle the complete employee lifecycle: manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, employee relationship management, promotions, transfers, and exit processes.
- Maintain valid DOH licenses, registrations, credentials, and related documentation for all healthcare staff.
- Coordinate with departments on DOH licensing, classification, renewals, compliance, and transfers.
- Keep precise and confidential employee records including contracts and HR files.
- Track attendance, leaves, payroll data, benefits, and other HR concerns working with relevant teams.
- Manage employee relations professionally, addressing grievances, discipline, investigations, conflicts, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor regulations, employment agreements, internal policies, and healthcare regulations.
- Develop and oversee performance evaluation systems and KPIs to foster employee growth and organizational success.
- Identify staff training needs and manage related development programs.
- Prepare comprehensive HR and workforce reports such as headcount metrics, turnover analytics, and other management documentation.
- Assist leadership with workforce planning, organizational growth, salary structuring, and strategic HR initiatives.
- Build strong connections with staff, department leads, healthcare professionals, and senior management.
- Conduct HR audits ensuring readiness for inspections and regulatory compliance.
- Recognize HR risks and suggest effective strategies to enhance retention, engagement, productivity, and compliance.
- Continuously refine HR processes to improve efficiency, professionalism, and the overall employee experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience including significant tenure within the UAE healthcare sector.
- Prior role as HR Manager or Head in a medical facility in Abu Dhabi is highly advantageous.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of DOH regulations, healthcare licensing mandates, and UAE Labour Law.
- Experience managing both clinical and non-clinical personnel.
- Strong leadership capabilities coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple demanding priorities.
- Experience working in the UAE is compulsory.
- Preference given to candidates already residing in Abu Dhabi.
Salary Details
The salary for this position can be up to 40000 AED per month.
