Our client is a well-established multinational corporation operating within the global maritime and logistics industries. With an extensive international presence and a highly operational business setting, the company is integral in supporting customers across various markets.
Role Overview
As the organization focuses on enhancing its talent capabilities, they seek to appoint an HR Manager who will spearhead the creation and execution of Performance Management and Learning & Development (L&D) frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and rollout of a holistic Performance Management system including goal setting, performance evaluations, calibration exercises, and development planning.
- Create clear and standardized performance processes, guidelines, and tools to ensure consistency organization-wide.
- Work in close collaboration with senior leaders and managers to promote elevated performance standards and foster a culture of high achievement.
- Design and implement comprehensive Learning & Development frameworks aligned with business goals and workforce needs.
- Analyze training needs and identify skill gaps across diverse functions and employee segments.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate leadership, management, and functional training programs.
- Implement structured career and employee development plans to encourage internal growth.
- Support talent succession planning and broader talent management initiatives.
- Establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of performance and training programs.
- Collaborate actively with business leaders and HR teams on organizational development and other people-centric initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Robust HR background with a specialization in Performance Management and Learning & Development.
- Proven track record in creating or redesigning performance management frameworks rather than only administering existing systems.
- Experience in crafting training frameworks, learning programs, and capacity-building efforts.
- Excellent stakeholder management aptitude with the ability to engage senior leadership effectively.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong skills in communication, facilitation, and influencing others.
- Experience in a regional or multinational company will be an advantage.
- Background in the marine, maritime, logistics, or related sectors would be a beneficial asset.
