Job description
Role Overview
The HR Director will spearhead the human resources strategy, ensuring all people-related initiatives align with and support the company’s overarching business goals. This leadership role encompasses oversight of talent management, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership and business heads to drive organizational effectiveness, nurture talent, enhance employee engagement, and cultivate a strong, people-centric workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement holistic HR strategies that reflect and promote organizational objectives and priorities.
- Manage HR operations, protocols, programs, and procedures throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Advise senior executives and management on workforce planning, organizational growth, and HR-related concerns.
- Direct initiatives related to talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Develop and support performance management systems fostering accountability and ongoing professional growth.
- Champion efforts to improve employee engagement, nurture organizational culture, boost retention, and enrich employee experiences.
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition schemes aligned with company goals.
- Lead employee relations strategies and ensure consistent enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Track, analyze, and report HR metrics, workforce trends, and organizational data to inform strategic choices.
- Ensure compliance of HR policies and practices with employment laws and organizational standards.
- Manage and develop the HR team by setting clear priorities, refining processes, and defining performance expectations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on organizational change management, restructuring, workforce development, and strategic projects.
- Continuously seek advancements in HR systems, workflows, and overall organizational efficiency.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related fields; advanced qualifications preferred.
- Deep expertise in HR strategy, talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and sound decision-making abilities.
- Analytical proficiency to evaluate workforce data and derive actionable business insights.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and executing HR policies, initiatives, and organizational programs effectively.
- Familiarity with HR technology, HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and contemporary people practices.
- High ethical standards, confidentiality, professionalism, and prudent judgment with sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated strength in organizational development and change management.
- Capability to balance strategic vision with operational needs in a fast-paced business environment.
