Role Overview
The HR Assistant plays a key supportive role within the Human Resources department, handling administrative and operational tasks across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR Manager, the incumbent facilitates recruitment, onboarding, HR documentation, employee engagement, learning initiatives, HR reporting, payroll inputs, and HRIS management, ensuring efficient daily HR functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment processes including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and facilitating onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR documentation.
- Assist in payroll processes by managing attendance, leave, and overtime records.
- Oversee employee data in HRIS systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nexans reporting standards.
- Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards, KPIs, and submit HR Data Factory reports.
- Respond to employee HR inquiries and provide HRIS support.
- Support learning and development by organizing training programs and employee development plans.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communication campaigns.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, ensuring adherence to Qatar Labour Law and company policies.
- Contribute to audits, HR projects, and ongoing improvement efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- Two to three years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Solid knowledge of Qatar Labour Law.
- Proven skills in recruitment, payroll administration, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Experience working with HRIS or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and time management capabilities.
- High professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Capable of collaborating effectively within a multicultural manufacturing environment.
