Role Summary

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service across guest rooms, supporting and overseeing the daily activities of Room Attendants. This supervisory role involves close coordination with other hotel departments and direct engagement with guests to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Room Attendants in their daily responsibilities while coordinating with various hotel departments for operational needs and queries.
• Manage room allocation and coordination duties as necessary.
• Provide hands-on training to staff to guarantee rooms meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards efficiently.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage staff adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
• Inspect and approve guest rooms before release, reporting any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
• Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, working closely with the Executive Housekeeper when required.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a warm, outgoing demeanor with a sincere passion for hospitality.
• Exhibit flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and late nights as part of a seven-day roster.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, presentation, and professional growth within hospitality.
• Show initiative and resourcefulness, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working in a bustling 4 to 5-star hotel environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service levels.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Professional grooming standards and excellent articulation.
