Role Overview

The Housekeeping Specialist is a full-time position based on-site in Tiruppur. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of production zones, administrative offices, restrooms, and shared areas. Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste collection and disposal, and proper usage and storage of cleaning tools and materials. Responsibilities also cover laundering mats and office linens, adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols, and assisting with basic facility maintenance. The specialist will work closely with team members and supervisors to promptly meet housekeeping needs, maintaining a tidy and orderly environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across production areas, office spaces, washrooms, and communal areas.
• Perform daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste collection, and disposal activities diligently.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly, ensuring proper storage and use.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, and handling mats and office linens.
• Follow safety guidelines and cleaning protocols precisely to uphold a safe work environment.
• Support minor facility upkeep and report any maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members to prioritize and address housekeeping requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Capability to execute core housekeeping duties such as cleaning, organizing, and sustaining hygienic work areas.
• Experience with laundry operations, handling washing, drying, and management of mats and linens.
• Customer service focus marked by politeness, respect, and responsiveness to requests.
• Good communication skills to interact with supervisors and colleagues and adhere to instructions clearly.
