Role Overview
We are recruiting experienced Housekeeping Managers for several locations throughout Australia. This role is vital for hotel success, overseeing all housekeeping functions to uphold guest satisfaction and hotel quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage housekeeping team operations to maximize performance and productivity.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high cleanliness and operational standards.
- Manage payroll, room counts, and daily adherence to the Hospitality Industry General Award.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, rostering, and performance management.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies consistently.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments such as General Manager, front office, and maintenance teams.
- Maintain compliance with contractual and industry housekeeping standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma-level qualification in hospitality management or a related discipline.
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar Housekeeping Manager role, ideally within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
Candidate Profile
- Exemplary leadership with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Availability to work on a rotating roster as needed.
- Full working rights within Australia.
- Excellent grooming and professional presentation.
- Strong organizational and management capabilities.
- Experience in outsourcing procedures is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented, passionate, and consistent in maintaining standards.
- Proven ability to develop productive relationships with hotel internal teams.
- Possess excellent time management and multitasking skills.
