Guest Experience

• Deliver a welcoming atmosphere by keeping rooms and common areas spotless, comfortable, and well-arranged.
• Address guest requests quickly and courteously, utilizing HubOS to log and manage needs as required.
• Note and document guest preferences to personalize their stay.
• Manage lost property accurately following hotel protocols.

Operational Responsibilities and Quality

• Clean guest rooms, suites, and public spaces conforming to IHG brand standards and the IHG Clean Promise.
• Maintain housekeeping tools, pantry stock, linen supplies, and inventory levels.
• Report maintenance concerns promptly and assist with minor repairs when necessary.
• Track room servicing progress and provide updates to housekeeping supervisors.
• Participate in stocktaking and ensure accurate records of housekeeping materials and equipment.
• Meet daily service productivity and quality objectives by prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Health, Safety, and Responsible Business

• Adhere to safe work methods and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Identify hazards, report them, and assist with risk mitigation.
• Support sustainability efforts by practicing environmentally responsible housekeeping.
• Maintain professional personal grooming, hygiene, and safe workplace habits.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to consistently high cleaning standards.
• Reliable, friendly, and enjoys collaborating within a team environment.
• Communicates effectively and can prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Physically able to remain on feet, bend, and safely lift, push, or pull equipment and linens.
• Availability includes weekends and public holidays.
• Possesses legal authorization to work in Australia.
