Job Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Hilton Singapore Orchard, your role involves managing various cleaning and maintenance tasks assigned daily, focusing either on guest rooms or support duties such as running. This includes ensuring the cleanliness of room floors and pantry areas, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting guest services to uphold Hilton's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all assigned cleaning duties in guest rooms and related areas to meet Hilton's stringent cleanliness criteria and follow company policies.
• Respect guest privacy during service and offer helpful responsiveness to guest needs and requests.
• Restock and maintain guest rooms and housekeeping supplies, including linen and amenities, according to set standards.
• Perform special services such as turndown service when required.
• Ensure secure handling of master keys and maintain orderly and well-supplied housekeeping trolleys.
• Keep guest corridors, floor pantries, and linen rooms clean and orderly.
• Report any losses, damages, or maintenance issues to relevant supervisors and teams promptly.
• Maintain courteous and professional interactions with guests and colleagues across departments.
• Adhere strictly to procedures for lost and found items.
• Possess fundamental knowledge of hotel operating systems to assist with guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
• Promote Hilton's products and services with up-to-date knowledge to enhance guest experience.
• Manage inventory checking and replenishment of housekeeping supplies and linens on a daily basis.
• Complete special projects as assigned and comply with company codes of conduct and policies.

Candidate Profile

• Completed high school education and undergone skills training.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience in a similar role within an international hotel chain.
• Proficient in English to meet communication needs in a business environment.
• Solid understanding of daily housekeeping operations on guest floors.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Familiarity with proper chemical use for room cleaning and maintenance.
