Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including tasks such as dusting, bed making, removal of used linens, vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms and inside windows, and restocking room supplies, all adhering to brand standards.
• Use "cleaning in progress" signs and keep doors closed when servicing rooms.
• Coordinate with room service for clearing trays and trolleys.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently and properly.
• Accurately report room status at shift's end.
• Keep linen and supply closets, as well as landings, organized and tidy.
• Empty the vacuum cleaner regularly when near capacity.
• Report any issues or queries to the floor supervisor.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and colleagues.
• Physically lift, carry, or pull objects as necessary.
• Immediately hand over lost and found items to security.
• Identify and report rooms not requiring service or marked Do Not Disturb.
• Inform the Floor Housekeeper about bedding items needing replacement such as mattress protectors, blankets, bedspreads, and valances.
• Report any suspicious individuals to Housekeeping or security staff.
• Alert supervisors to any health and safety hazards.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and uniform presentation.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment promptly.
• Comply with all departmental policies by reading and understanding them.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School diploma or vocational training and/or at least one year of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
• Experience in a luxury hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possess a friendly and approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
