Job description
Position Overview
As a Housekeeping Associate at Marriott International, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and memorable guest experience. Your responsibilities will cover a broad range of housekeeping duties to maintain the hotel's cleanliness and visual appeal, including cleaning rooms, public areas, stocking carts, and responding to guest requests. You will be empowered to independently manage your work environment to meet the standards expected by the Marriott brand.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public spaces throughout the hotel.
- Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently to enhance their experience.
- Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Follow all company policies including safety protocols, confidentiality, and quality standards.
- Keep a professional appearance with appropriate uniform, personal grooming, and effective communication skills.
