Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of designated areas to maintain hygiene and tidiness.
• Performing housekeeping tasks within residents’ homes with sensitivity and discretion.
• Keeping communal spaces neat, orderly, and visually appealing at all times.
• Cleaning tasks including vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and furniture and woodwork polishing.
• Responsible disposal of waste by emptying and relining bins in accordance with proper procedures.
• Cleaning reachable windows and glass surfaces effectively.
• Efficient laundry service performed to high standards.
• Adhering to COSHH regulations to uphold safety during all housekeeping activities.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Assistant, Housekeeper, or Cleaner is essential.
• Self-driven, personable with strong communication skills to interact well with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of adjusting to shifts and dynamic priorities.
• Basic knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and compliance is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
