Role Summary

The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for performing a range of cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain the safe, clean, and hygienic condition of the Long-Term Care home for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean various areas including dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, activity spaces, offices, hallways, and stairwells as instructed.
• Perform floor maintenance such as mopping, waxing, polishing, and operate floor buffing machines in multiple areas like dining rooms and offices.
• Dust and clean furniture and equipment thoroughly.
• Organize furniture neatly and in order.
• Disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily to maintain sanitation.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferable.
• Minimum education level required is public school completion.

Compensation and Additional Details

The hourly wage is $18.73, with placement based on qualifications and prior experience.
