Housekeeper

Overview

StoryPoint West Bend is seeking a full-time Housekeeper responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residents' apartments and communal spaces. Key Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas following established schedules and protocols.
• Maintain sanitary and hygienic conditions using proper cleaning techniques.
• Make independent decisions while adhering to instructions and safety guidelines.
• Interact respectfully and tactfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Follow directions meticulously when mixing cleaning agents and disinfectants.
• Communicate relevant information about residents' conditions as appropriate.
• Use cleaning supplies efficiently and report needs for resupply or equipment.
• Operate various equipment including buffers, extraction tools, vacuums, and commercial laundry machines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the housekeeping lead.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required; one to three years of related experience or training preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Enjoys a positive, fun work environment while being dedicated to delivering excellent service.

Working Conditions

• The role involves prolonged standing and occasional lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Must be fluent in English for reading, writing, and communication.
• Physical activities include walking, sitting, using hands, and occasional reaching.
• Work environment noise is moderate with some travel between locations.
