About the Role
Join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the lives of at-risk youth as a Housekeeper at Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village located in Lignum, Virginia. Childhelp is a psychiatric residential treatment center caring for children aged 5-14 who experience various traumas, psychiatric conditions, and neurodevelopmental challenges. Nestled on a sprawling 270-acre farm, this nurturing facility offers diverse therapeutic resources and adopts a comprehensive approach addressing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of each child. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of an assigned cottage or building within the facility.
- Thoroughly clean common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and individual cottage bedrooms.
- Properly manage and dispose of trash in designated locations.
- Maintain and restock cleaning supply inventories in the assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
- Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record over the past three years.
- Ability to successfully clear a criminal background check, drug screening, physical examination, and a tuberculosis test.
Working Schedule & Compensation
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 6 AM until 2 PM. Hourly wage is $14.00.
