About the Role

Join Healthcare Services Group as a Housekeeper, playing an essential role in ensuring a hygienic and safe environment within a long-term care facility. This position is vital for supporting the well-being of residents and enhancing their daily experience through maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning duties including sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and office spaces.
• Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety standards to maintain a sterile environment.
• Document cleaning activities and promptly notify supervisors of any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Comply with infection control guidelines and universal precautions to prevent contamination.
• Interact courteously and helpfully with residents, staff, and visitors to provide superior customer service.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and company leadership.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies applicable to the role.
• Physical capabilities including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, and sustained standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
• Able to handle repetitive tasks consistently and work safely around cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions daily.
• Residency within the service area is mandatory.
