Responsibilities

The Housekeeper, a full-time role with shifts typically Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Sunday from 7 AM to 5 PM (including rotating weekends), will perform cleaning duties across resident apartments, common areas, and interior spaces. Duties involve:

• Cleaning bathroom fixtures including sinks, toilets, and tubs
• Making beds and changing linens
• Emptying trash bins, cleaning them, and replacing liners
• Performing high and low dusting tasks
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

Qualifications

• Preferred prior housekeeping experience in hospitality, healthcare, environmental services, or senior living settings
• Availability to work weekends and holidays when requested
• Valid, current driver's license if applicable
• Familiarity with operation and upkeep of housekeeping and laundry equipment
• Understanding of infection control procedures, hazardous waste handling, and disaster response plans
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process

Additional Information

Typical work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend and holiday work will be scheduled as needed. The role demands strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards applicable to senior living environments.

Compensation

The pay band ranges from $16.51 to $19.39 per hour.
