Position Summary

We are actively recruiting individuals for full-time and part-time Housekeeper roles based at UAB St Vincent's Blount in Oneonta, AL. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and order in establishments such as hospitals by performing light cleaning tasks including bed making, linen replenishment, room and hall cleaning, and vacuuming.

Work Schedule and Location

The shifts are from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, with days varying and including weekends. The workplace is onsite at 150 Gilbreath Drive, Oneonta, AL 35121. We accept applications online exclusively, and interviews provide more schedule details.

Compensation and Requirements

The hourly wage is a fixed rate of $14.00 per hour. Prior cleaning experience is not a requirement to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, customer-focused service with meticulous detail.
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies; shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and clean metal fixtures.
• Empty and maintain cleanliness of trash containers, ensuring sanitary disposal.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and wipe glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Arrange furniture and room amenities according to specified layouts.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and housekeeping issues like spills or broken items.
• Collaborate professionally with customers, colleagues, and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
