Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time dishwasher to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas at Ascension Sacred Heart, Pensacola, FL. This role demands open availability with variable shifts and requires previous dishwashing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food residues off soiled dishes, then wash them manually or place in racks/conveyors of dishwashing machines to ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays adhering strictly to given procedures.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical treatments, buffing wheels, or hand cloths, maintaining hygiene standards.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently.
• Monitor and maintain proper temperatures and chemical concentrations according to standards.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to uphold sanitation and safety.
• Clean work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Manage waste by disposing of trash in designated containers and cleaning garbage cans via steaming or hosing.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and working zones.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing is mandatory.

Work Schedule and Location

Compensation

The pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
