Housekeeper - Critical Care

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our Critical Care team at North Manchester General Hospital. This role involves collaborating closely with nursing and domestic staff to maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all medical equipment is thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with domestic supervisors and staff to uphold high cleaning standards.
• Assist with meal services, including serving breakfast and lunch, as well as ordering patient food.
• Manage the ward's equipment and stock levels to ensure adequacy.
• Report any required estate repairs and request portering services as needed.
• Support continuous quality improvement actions through conducting ward audits.
• Maintain and update ward information boards regularly.
