Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient, and positive customer service to clients, visitors, and colleagues, adapting to their needs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas, including ancillary spaces and corridors, adhering to safety protocols and departmental preventive maintenance policies.
• Assess situations and select appropriate cleaning methods as per orientation guidelines.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and utilize cleaning solutions safely and effectively under supervisory observation.
• Disinfect and sterilize tools and supplies using germicides and sterilization equipment where necessary.
• Follow universal precautions diligently in disposing of waste, including biohazard materials.
• Keep cleaning carts well stocked, ensure chemical containers are properly labeled, and maintain all equipment in good working order.
• Foster professional relationships by demonstrating respectful and collaborative behavior with colleagues in various departments.
• Contribute to enhancing department productivity and operational efficiency.
• Show dedication to professional development by adhering to training requirements within the department and its components.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning duties.
• Effective communication skills with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Adaptability to meet shifting operational demands successfully.

Physical Demands & Requirements

This role involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended periods of walking and standing. Use of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety.
