Housekeeper

About the Role

Spire Wellesley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours weekly. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the hospital and its auxiliary buildings.

Work Schedule

The role requires availability on a rota basis covering five days out of seven, including weekends, with the following shift patterns:

• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning schedules specific to each shift, ensuring rooms are prepared according to required layouts and both offices and public spaces are cleaned to exemplary standards.
• Adhere strictly to all Health and Safety regulations, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines.
• Perform additional duties reasonably aligned with the nature and responsibility level of this position.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or customer-facing role is advantageous but not mandatory. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety practices and COSHH is preferred but not required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
