Role Overview
The Housekeeper at Tallington Lodge plays a vital role in maintaining a pristine and hygienic living environment. Responsibilities include meticulous cleaning of resident rooms to ensure the highest standards of hygiene, as well as laundering, pressing, and neatly folding residents' personal clothing and bedding. Housekeepers pay close attention to detail, ensuring no surface goes unnoticed and contribute significantly to the home's warm, safe, and friendly atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to supporting a person-centered environment for residents.
- Experience in housekeeper or laundry roles is favored but not compulsory.
- Strong attention to detail and a caring, friendly demeanor are essential.
- Ability to engage empathetically with residents and their families.
- Some awareness or understanding of the care sector is advantageous.
Working Hours and Conditions
This position involves working 44 hours per week with weekend shifts on a rotating basis, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK; sponsorship is no longer available.
