Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to join our team delivering exceptional cleaning services specifically for Defence. This role is contracted for 35 hours per week and involves contributing to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Typical Shift Pattern
Work five days out of seven per week, maintaining consistent cleaning standards throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness across various areas within the building.
- Perform thorough dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming to meet high standards.
- Regularly sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and other commonly touched points.
- Quickly manage additional cleaning tasks such as promptly mopping spills.
- Handle waste by emptying bins and disposing of rubbish appropriately.
- Ensure all spaces remain clean, tidy, and safe, following company policies and procedures.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety requirements when operating cleaning equipment.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in cleaning roles similar to housekeeping.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility regarding shift hours and duties as required.
