Job description
Role Overview
The Hotel Services team at Infinite Aged Care plays an essential role in providing top-tier hospitality and support services that greatly enhance the quality of life for our residents. Opportunities exist across multiple functions including Housekeeping, Servery, and Kitchen Assistant roles, all vital in ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping Assistants are responsible for thorough cleaning of residents' rooms, common areas, dining facilities, administrative offices, entrances, and outdoor spaces alongside laundry services to maintain hygiene and infection control. Servery and Kitchen Assistants support meal preparation, plating, serving, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas tidy, contributing to nutritious meal experiences for residents.
These positions require physically active engagement such as bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items regularly while maintaining safety to avoid injury to oneself, colleagues, or residents.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are compassionate, customer-service oriented, and enjoy collaborating within a team. A positive attitude, effective communication skills, and pride in delivering excellent service through cleaning, food handling, or direct interaction are vital. While prior aged care experience is not essential, alignment with our values and philosophy, basic computer literacy, and commitment to resident welfare are mandatory.
