Hotel General Manager

About the Role

Fakieh Tarfeeh Group seeks a seasoned and performance-focused Hotel General Manager to oversee the comprehensive operations of its hotel located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role demands leadership across multiple departments to ensure operational excellence and sustained financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hotel operations to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
• Lead all hotel divisions, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Security, and Procurement.
• Formulate and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive growth in revenue, profitability, occupancy rates, and overall financial health.
• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators such as Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), revenue figures, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Maintain exceptional guest experiences and uphold service quality benchmarks.
• Address guest feedback and complaints proactively, implementing ongoing improvements.
• Foster and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, industry partners, tourism officials, and other vital stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, hospitality standards, legal regulations, and health & safety requirements.
• Oversee workforce planning, staff performance evaluation, development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepare and control budgets, manage operating expenses, and devise business plans.
• Identify operational issues promptly and apply corrective measures effectively.
• Deliver regular performance reports and provide strategic advice to the executive management team.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Established track record in hotel management, preferably holding a General Manager or senior leadership position within hospitality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, revenue optimization, sales strategies, and fiscal management.
• Proven leadership abilities and people management expertise.
• Strong commercial insight and business understanding.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep appreciation for guest satisfaction and hospitality quality standards.
• Fluent English language skills; proficiency in Arabic considered beneficial.
• Capability to operate efficiently in a fast-moving environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
