Hotel General Manager

Job Overview

MacDonald Search Group is collaborating with a Lower Mainland hotel to find a dynamic General Manager. This leadership position involves comprehensive oversight across Front Office & Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Revenue Management departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the hotel's ownership to define and set performance objectives.
• Analyze daily and monthly financial reports to monitor fiscal health.
• Formulate detailed business plans, operating budgets, and strategic initiatives.
• Track market dynamics, competitor actions, and trends within the hospitality industry.
• Enhance workforce efficiency while maintaining outstanding guest service quality.
• Spot and develop additional revenue opportunities in rooms, meetings, parking, and other hotel services.
• Manage pre-opening preparations for new or expanded hotel facilities, including guest rooms, amenities, and public areas.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and consistently high guest satisfaction scores.
• Conduct routine operational audits and formulate strategies to reduce guest inconveniences during renovation projects.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a base salary between $100,000 and $110,000 annually, complemented by bonuses and various employee perks and benefits.
