Role Overview
This full-time onsite position based in Jeddah requires the Hotel Front Office Waitress to ensure an excellent guest experience by warmly welcoming visitors and offering attentive customer service in both lobby and dining settings. Responsibilities include taking and serving food and beverage orders, liaising effectively with kitchen and front desk staff, maintaining cleanliness and tidy presentation in service areas, assisting with guest inquiries, supporting check-in and check-out duties as needed, and professionally addressing special requests or issues. The role demands compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel operational standards to foster a hospitable and efficient atmosphere.
Candidate Expectations
- Exemplary customer service skills focused on guest satisfaction, handling inquiries and feedback tactfully.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in food & beverage operations, including order taking, serving, and kitchen coordination.
- Clear and polite communication abilities, preferably in English; additional languages considered advantageous.
- Basic familiarity with food preparation and cooking concepts to assist with simple food service tasks and explain menu offerings where needed.
- Previous employment in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality sectors, particularly in front office or direct guest roles, is preferred.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays; ability to stand and be active for prolonged durations.
- Understanding of essential hygiene, food safety, and handling regulations within hospitality environments.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certifications are beneficial.
