About the Role

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Protea Hotels by Marriott®, your role transcends maintaining tidy rooms and freshly made beds. You contribute to crafting an unforgettable and distinct guest experience by ensuring the entire hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal. Empowered to take initiative in your work area, your duties will include attending to guest requests, stocking supply carts, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, and related housekeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel’s interior spaces.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests related to housekeeping.
• Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to company standards.
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and confidentiality agreements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style at all times.
• Physically capable to stand, sit, or walk for long periods; lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without help.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, standing, walking).
