Role Overview

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert manages cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of guest rooms within assigned areas, adhering strictly to hotel standards. The role requires attending to guest needs and maintaining high hygiene and presentation levels throughout the property.

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle master keys responsibly, ensuring their receipt and return.
• Receive, accurately complete, and return daily work assignments.
• Perform daily guest room makeups and night turndown services.
• Arrange guest belongings tidily in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area consistently.
• Clean and care for marble and granite flooring daily.
• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including carpets, wallpapers, furniture, and bathrooms every day.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridor carpets, wallpapers, and furniture.
• Report any damages or defects related to furniture and equipment.
• Log and report Lost & Found items promptly to Housekeeping.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious guest or staff behavior.
• Adhere strictly to grooming and uniform standards.
• Comply with legislated occupational health and safety regulations.
• Carry out duties courteously, safely, and efficiently, aligning with St. Regis Abu Dhabi policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and hotel standards at all times.
• Promote the ethos of "bespoke and uncompromising service" by example.
• Foster a caring work environment for both guests and colleagues.
• Be flexible to work any shifts as assigned by Housekeeping management.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces, including lobby and restrooms.
• Report damage to carpets and upholstery.
• Use cleaning chemicals following hotel guidelines.
• Keep cleaning equipment clean and orderly.

Qualification Standards

• Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping or service industry roles.
• Flexibility to work shifts assigned by supervisors.
• Ability to handle environments involving dust and unclean conditions.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English.

Additional Information

Location: Nation Tower, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This non-management, full-time role requires on-site presence.
