Abareez Advanced Company is preparing to launch Abareez, an expansive multi-cuisine fine dining restaurant in Riyadh, targeting a 2026 opening. This project is set to become one of the city’s most extensive and innovative dining destinations, hosting Italian, Indian, Turkish, Lebanese, and Seafood kitchens led by chefs with international expertise. The venue aims to elevate hospitality standards in Saudi Arabia while offering staff growth opportunities in a premium, creative environment.
Role Overview
The Host/Hostess will be the welcoming face of the restaurant, tasked with greeting guests warmly, managing reservations efficiently, and organizing the seating arrangement to facilitate seamless service flow. Operating on-site full-time in Riyadh, duties include answering questions about the menu and restaurant concept, liaising with waitstaff, maintaining a tidy reception and waiting area, and utilizing reservation and booking systems to handle walk-ins and calls. The role involves communicating wait times clearly, gathering guest feedback, providing fundamental details about food and beverage offerings, and partnering with management to uphold top-tier service and brand standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and professional phone handling skills.
- Customer service expertise oriented towards delivering welcoming and memorable guest experiences.
- Experience in training or eagerness to learn and impart service standards to colleagues.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage operations, menu organization, and fine dining protocols.
- Sales acumen, including opportunities for upselling reservations and special experiences.
- Previous experience in front-of-house roles within restaurants or hotel environments is preferred.
- Competency with digital reservation systems and basic computer skills for managing bookings and seating.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic or additional languages considered beneficial.
