Role Summary

The Hostess will be the welcoming face for guests, managing seating, reservations, and overall flow of service within the restaurant. This position demands excellent communication skills, attentiveness, and a strong dedication to ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Primary Duties

• Warmly greet guests and guide them to assigned seating.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, table allocations, and special guest requests efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menu offerings, promotions, and hotel services.
• Respond to telephone inquiries professionally following established service protocols.
• Oversee guest flow and organize waiting lists during peak periods.
• Anticipate guest needs, promptly answer questions, and help resolve any issues.
• Conduct table visits and collaborate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Keep the hostess desk and dining area tidy, organized, and well-presented.
• Assist in menu preparation, cashier operations, and restaurant functions when necessary.
• Coordinate with team members to provide friendly, efficient, and professional service.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience as a Hostess or in a related food and beverage position.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic or Russian is advantageous.
• Proven guest service aptitude with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards maintained.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage service procedures.
• Familiarity with fundamental computer skills.

• Willingness to work flexible rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as operationally required.
• Ability to handle busy service times, waiting lists, reservations, and dynamic guest needs effectively.
• Maintains high personal hygiene and professional presentation.
