Role Overview

The Hostess serves as the initial point of contact for guests, tasked with warmly welcoming and seating them, managing dining reservations, and ensuring smooth service flow. This position requires excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to creating outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their designated tables.
• Oversee restaurant reservations, handle cancellations, assign tables, and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the restaurant layout, operational hours, menu offerings, current promotions, and hotel services.
• Answer phone inquiries professionally in line with service standards.
• Manage guest flow effectively and maintain waiting lists during peak periods.
• Anticipate guest requirements, respond promptly to questions, and assist in resolving any issues.
• Conduct routine table visits and collaborate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Keep the hostess desk and dining spaces clean, organized, and well-presented.
• Provide support with menu preparation, cashier operations, and general restaurant functions when needed.
• Work closely with colleagues to offer friendly, efficient, and professional service.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience as a hostess or in a similar food and beverage role.
• Proficient verbal communication skills in English are required; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are advantageous.
• Strong guest service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, pleasant demeanor and well-groomed appearance.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage service protocols.
• Fundamental computer literacy.
