Position Overview
This role is centered around more than providing food and drinks; it aims to create a memorable and unique dining experience for guests. As a Guest Service Expert, you are responsible for a variety of services including setting tables, liaising with the kitchen staff, engaging with guests during their meals, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves active physical engagement such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, sometimes on uneven or slippery surfaces. Handling the menu requires reading and verifying information visually. Physical duties include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 25 pounds unaided and up to 50 pounds with help, plus reaching overhead and bending or stooping as necessary. Upholding safety standards, following company policies, maintaining quality, and ensuring a professional appearance and communication style are critical to success.
Qualifications and Experience
The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The role is suitable for individuals with less than one year of related work experience. No supervisory responsibilities or specific licenses/certifications are required.
