Hostess

About the Role

Trump International Golf Club Dubai invites applications for the position of Hostess within our Food & Beverage team, serving guests across our exclusive standalone dining venues.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests warmly, guiding them courteously to their tables and providing menus.
• Oversee reservation bookings with accuracy, managing waitlists through the club's system and informing guests of anticipated wait times.
• Optimize table accommodations to enhance dining area efficiency, especially during peak times and special events.
• Update servers and management on seating arrangements and room capacities to maintain smooth service flow.
• Address special guest requests such as dietary preferences, accessibility needs, and accommodation for larger groups.
• Resolve guest concerns diplomatically, escalating issues appropriately when necessary.
• Keep the entrance, reception, and hostess station immaculate and inviting at all times.
• Assist with outdoor and patio dining services during tournaments and other events.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Proven experience in a standalone Food & Beverage setting, such as independent restaurants, fine dining, or upscale lounges; experience limited to hotel F&B operations is not suitable.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and long shifts during major golf seasons and events.
• Neat, professional appearance consistent with club grooming standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Composed and friendly manner with professionalism under pressure.
• Knowledge of reservation management and Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
